BARILOCHE & CHAPELCO TRIP
(Friday, August 13th to Saturday, August 21st)
Friday 8/13: Departure to Bariloche at 2pm (passengers should be there at 1:30pm) from Teatro Colón (Viamonte and Libertad St. corner) Dinner on bus.
Saturday 8/14: Breakfast on bus. Arrival in San Carlos de Bariloche at about 11am.
Transfer to Hostel de los Troncos, where you're free to have lunch. Circuito Chico tour at 2:30pm, covering part of the Nahuel Huapi Lake and Bariloche's main panoramic points.
Dinner at Las Moras Restaurant, just 5 blocks from the hostel (drinks not included).
Sunday 8/15: Breakfast at hostel. Transfer to Cerro Catedral, where you can ski all day (Pass, ski lift and equipment not included. Pass + ski lift is $185 pesos a day –you can check the mid-season price on Cerro Catedral's website. Ski equipment is $75 pesos a day).
Those not interested in skiing can take the transfer to visit the place and enjoy the snow or else get on the pedestrians' lift ($55 pesos a day).
Return to hostel at 5pm. Dinner at hostel.
Monday 8/16 (national holiday): Breakfast at hostel. Transfer to Cerro Catedral. Return to hostel at 5pm.
Those not interested in going back to Cerro Catedral can do other optional activities.
Dinner at hostel.
Tuesday 8/17: Breakfast at hostel. Transfer to San Martín de los Andes (by minivan –19 people minimum-- or else by regular bus). Arrival in San Martin de los Andes at about 2pm. Free day.
Lodging at Hostería del Arbol Duende. Dinner at hostel (drinks not included)
Wednesday 8/18: Breakfast at hostel. Transfer to Cerro Chapelco Ski Center. Return to hostel at 6pm. Dinner at hostel.
Thursday 8/19: Breakfast at hostel. Transfer to Cerro Chapelco Ski Center. Return to hostel at 6pm. Dinner at hostel.
Friday 8/20: Breakfast at hostel. Free day for optional activities (not included): Lanín Volcano and Huechulaufquen Lake, Quilla Quina, Villa La Angostura, etc. Dinner at hostel.
Saturday 8/21: Breakfast at hostel. Free morning. Return to Buenos Aires, exact time to be confirmed, estimated at about 12pm.
